Mehdi Ebragimi Vafa

Mehdi Ebragimi Vafa was born on June 8, 1973 in Tehran, the capital of Iran. Mehdi grew up in a large family with two sisters and two brothers. He was a middle brother. Mehdi's father is a businessman, he is keen on philosophy and writes poetry. His mother, Turk by descent, having love and respect for her chosen one, has mastered the Persian language. She spoke without any accent that was just incredible. It was she who made Mehdi's father the happiest man.

Mehdi was an unusual boy from childhood up. He had visions and it made his parents pay special attention to the boy. They couldn't understand what was wrong with Mehdi. Sometimes he talked in his sleep, he predicted some events that should happen in the future, forewarned people of danger and of course he shared with them his presentiments about positive changes.

Many people around him said that not only words but also Mehdi's hands possessed peculiar effect - they imparted peace of mind, confidence, delivered from nervousness. Everyone who took his hand felt being put in a good mood and assertiveness.

For a long time Mehdi was wrestling with the question what was going on with him and why. When he was 18, he became a teacher in remote villages in highlands. Only in mountains far away from people he could reveal all his inner sides. Reading, meditating, praying and listening to the nature helped Mehdi to learn to read the thoughts of people. 'I understood, that I was a part of this world and its nature, an active part. I began to feel the sea, I was imbued with the power of the mountains, the wind and fire'. His spirit got so attached to those remote places that he has lived there for a long time. It was the place where he found the answers to his questions.

Then Mehdi decided to fulfill his mother's dream and to become a doctor. That is why he left his house for Russia. He graduated from Sechenov Medical Academy of Moscow and in 2008 got second university degree in stomatology. At the same time he got a degree in psychology.

By request of his wife and friends he took part in TV-project 'Psychic Challenge 3' and became the winner. While participating in the show filming Mehdi went through two events that changed his life - he lost his dearest mother and God blessed him with a son.

After Mehdi became the winner on the show, his dream came true. The thing has he dreamed of since his childhood was to help people, and now this time has come. Now Mehdi works as a doctor and psychologist, he paints, writes books and poetry, sings and devotes some time to photography. There are lots of extraordinary photos in his collection. He can be described in plenty of words, but in a phrase he is a creative personality. 'All the things I succeed in I succeed with the help of God. I always appeal to God and He shows me the right way'.

SMART Table interactive learning center.

SMART Table interactive learning center.
One touch is never enough. Young students are drawn to the surface of the SMART Table™ interactive learning center, where work and play come together. The SMART Table is the first multitouch, multiuser interactive learning center that allows groups of early education students to work simultaneously on one surface. The SMART Table’s interface is so intuitive that even young students can start using it without instruction.
Storytelling with the SMART Table.
Make storytelling a collaborative, creative and interactive experience. Download Goldilocks and the Three Bears – a Scholastic Story Stage application for the SMART Table.

Flexibility means long-term value.
The SMART Table provides you with increased flexibility, both in terms of content and teaching style. Thanks to the SMART Table Toolkit, a resource that comes with the SMART Table, you can create an almost limitless supply of activities for your interactive learning center. The toolkit helps you customize ready-made activities and create new ones. As students learn, you can refine and redesign activities to keep them challenged and engaged.
Because the SMART Table complements the SMART Board interactive whiteboard and other SMART products, a variety of different teaching styles can be accommodated. You can also create interactive lessons and move smoothly between whole-class and small-group learning.
Help students collaborate and learn.
Today’s tech-savvy students naturally gravitate to the SMART Table, and its horizontal, 360 degree surface makes it easy and fun for them to collaborate on activities. While working on the interactive learning center, students have the opportunity to build cognitive, social and fine motor skills. Even relatively shy children feel comfortable participating, and show leadership skills when completing group work. With its unique and engaging features, the SMART Table is accessible by all students, including those with special needs.
Make toolkit activities your own.
The SMART Table comes with the SMART Table Toolkit, a resource that helps you create a limitless supply of activities on your computer. It is easy to customize ready-made activities to suit your needs. For example, take a multiple choice activity on North American animals and change the images to tigers, elephants, lions and gazelles to create an African animal exercise.

Download ready-made activities.
You can download ready-made SMART Table activities from educator resources web page. These activities correspond with the SMART-created SMART Notebook lesson activities and SMART Response question sets. They can be modified to meet your specific lesson needs. New activities and applications are added regularly.

Use it with the SMART Board interactive whiteboard…
To optimize both whole-class and small-group learning, the SMART Table is an excellent complement to the SMART Board interactive whiteboard. For instance, when teaching a lesson, you could first introduce a concept on the interactive whiteboard with all students, then reinforce it through group work on the SMART Table. For example, reinforce a geography lesson started on the interactive whiteboard with a mapping activity for smaller groups on the SMART Table. The interactive learning center's screen could then be projected on the interactive whiteboard for the whole class to see.

Most students in Ukrainian schools will have electronic diaries in 2012

Ukraine is rapidly going digital. Electronic personal IDs (internal passports) are expected to appear in 2011. In 2012 all, or at least most, of students in Ukrainian secondary schools (i.e., elementary, junior high and high schools - in Ukraine they are not separated; students from the first to the last grade go to the same school) are going to have electronic school diaries.

No student of any Ukrainian school can do without a school diary, also called home-school book or grade book. Currently diaries look like copybooks, where students write down their schedule as well as home tasks. Teachers write down students' grades into class register and into diaries. Parents are expected to check their kids' diaries regularly, at least once a week. By putting his or her signature at the bottom of the page, a parent confirms that he or she has looked through the grades. It's quite natural that some irresponsible Ukrainian students sometimes try to prevent their parents from seeing their grades - by erasing low grades from a diary, for example.

It will obviously become more difficult to do so after electronic diaries are introduced. In 2012 all the grades of every student will be kept at special web-based electronic diaries. Parents will have access to their kids' diaries at any time, so it will be impossible to 'lose' a diary, erase grades from it, or tear a page out of a diary. Actually, electronic school diaries are already working in 30% of Ukrainian schools.

How to make your routine life interesting?

Ever have the feeling that you've been switched to autopilot? Maybe you're coasting through a too-familiar routine: shower, coffee, work, sandwich, work, gym, home, dinner, TV, sleep. "Habits and patterns of behavior make us feel comfortable".
While comfort is fine, straying off your well-worn path can give you a boost -- and bring more color and spirit into your life in the long term. "Once you stop numbing out and become more aware of whether you're happy or unhappy, comfortable or uncomfortable in specific situations, you'll stop going with the flow - and start dictating the flow of your life." Consider if you're experiencing any of these rut symptoms:
▼Your eating, exercise and work routines are carved in stone. Always run the same route? Eat the same salad for lunch most days of the week? I offer some motivation for mixing up your routine: "Any little thing that disrupts your pattern provides a wake-up call and helps you be more present in your life."

Little shifts can work like a battery pack to energize your life. Hit the gym at a different time of day, get a slightly different haircut every time you visit the salon, or move your bed across the room so you wake up with a new perspective. "Even just making a special breakfast on a weekday instead of Sunday will help you tune into the choices you usually make without thinking."

LOVE STORY!)))

"When I was six years old I met him in the playground and he came up to me with a daisy, just the one, and knelt on both knees and asked me to marry him. So I pushed him over then ran away. Two days later he came over and asked if he could play cops and robbers with me and from that day on we played everyday.

At 11 on my first day of Secondary school I was so nervous but at lunch time he came to find me, and we sat down and ate lunch together. We did this everyday for an entire year. You were the first person I told about everything, about my crushes, about my lessons and about all the people I hated, and when I was 13 and thought I was the only one who had never been kissed, you offered to show me how, and by the tree in your back-garden we shared our first kiss.

At 15 we went to our first proper house party, and I got drunk. Even though I made a fool of myself you were there to help me stand strong. You didn't judge and you didn't make fun.

Over the next year we began to separate, made different friends. I got my first serious boyfriend and you went through quite a few girlfriends. And then it got to May and that meant the prom. Everything had been arranged, I'd been getting my outfit for months and then the day before I found out my boyfriend had cheated on me. The first person I turned to was you. You turned up at my door with a bouquet of roses and a 1988's car.

I laughed that night
I cried that night

We had three glorious years together, when everyday I would smile.

My Own Valentine Tradition

St. Valentine's Day is now a day for sweethearts. It is the day that you show your friend or loved one that you care. You can send candy to someone you think is special. Or you can send roses, the flower of love. Most people send 'Valentines", a greeting card named after the notes that St. Valentine wrote from jail. Valentines can be sentimental, romantic and heartfelt. They can be funny and friendly. If the sender is shy, valentines can be anonymous. Americans of all ages love to send and receive valentines. Handmade valentines are created by cutting hearts out of coloured paper. Valentines can be heart-shaped, or have hearts, the symbol of love, on them. In elementary schools, children make valentines for their classmates and put them in a large decorated box, similar to a mailbox. On February 14, the teachers open the box and distribute the valentines to each student. After the students read their valentines, they have a small party with refreshments.

My Oun Valentine Tradition is special, home-made Valentine's Day cards. You can get spectacular results using easy techniques. The easiest way to make a Valentine's Day card is to fold a sheet of paper in half and decorate it. Sound boring? Well, it doesn't have to be. There are several fun options for decorating Valentine's Day cards:
One of the simplest ways is to cut a variety of heart shapes out of paper and glue them to the front of the card. Make different designs, animals, people, etc.
1.Take the heart idea one step further! Instead of cutting heart shapes out of paper, cut them out of fabric, wallpaper samples, tissue paper, wrapping paper, or anything else you can think of. Outline your hearts using paint!
2.Recycle last year's cards! Cut around the shape on the card. Glue it to a piece of construction paper, and trim around the picture. Outline your hearts with a paint!
3.Use collage techniques. Cut pictures out of magazines and glue them to your card. Try to find a collection of pictures that will tell a story! Cut words out of magazines to use - great for a secret admirer!
4.Use stamping/printing techniques. You can get a wide variety of rubber stamps on the market today, along with custom ink pads.
5.Cut small squares and/or triangles out of different colored paper, wallpaper samples, fabric, etc. Glue them onto the front of your card to form a mosaic/quilt like picture.
6.Use stencils, either store-bought or home-made, to make nice pictures on the from of the card.
7.Use a coloring book page on the front of your card! You can cut one put of a coloring book you have, or choose from several online coloring pages to print.
Paint a design on your card! Use fingerpaint to make a personalized design. You can also use tempera or acrylic paint. While the paint is still wait, you might want to sprinkle a little bit of glitter on your card to add a special finishing touch.
Use your imagination to create fancy St. Valentine's Day cards for everyone you know.
